Christmas is here again.. and my heart is heavier than it should be. The lights are shining, the songs are playing, and the world around me is wrapped up in joy but without you, it will never be complete. You were the magic of every Christmas, the one who made it all so special.
I miss you in so many ways but this time of year is when I miss you the most. I try to carry on the traditions you created but it’s just not the same without you. I feel your absence in all of the moments and in that empty chair where you should be.
I hope you know how missed you are and I hope that you are surrounded by beauty and peace.
Thank you for all of the Christmases we had together. Thank you for all of the memories that I will always cherish and thank you for always showing me the true meaning of the holiday season.
